BMP Seawater Technical data

Low energy consumption
Total efficiency up to 88 % – among the most efficient on the market.

Minimal service required
No oil lubrication is necessary: the medium itself lubricates the pump. No need for frequent service: the mechanical shaft seal is the only seal in the pump.

Corrosion resistance
All parts that come in contact with the pumped liquid are made from stainless steel and polymer, ensuring resistance to corrosive and low-viscosity fluids, e.g. seawater and brackish water.

High-pressure operation
The pump operates continuously at discharge pressures between 10 and 80 bar (145 – 1160 psi). Products operating at higher discharge pressures are available upon request.

Wide flow range
Flow is controlled by the speed of the motor (700 – 3000 rpm). A single BMP pump size can handle a wide flow range at the same head.

Low pulsation
A design featuring up to nine pistons reduces pressure pulsations in the discharge line down to 1.5 %, making pulsation dampers unnecessary. In addition, installation costs are reduced.

Compact design
The BMP is the most compact pump on the market, giving system builders a free hand to design more compact systems.
