Co-operation through talents

Grundfos is looking to find new and better ways forward - preferably in co-operation with the top educational institutions. We are therefore repeating the success of the last two years' Grundfos Challenge and have invited engineering and economics students from higher educational institutions in Denmark to take part in an exceptional challenge.

The focus is on innovation, drive, team-work and, to a large extent, the ability to think ahead. But Grundfos Challenge is also about identifying talented people and offering them a valuable insight into our world. It is our hope that Grundfos Challenge once again will be a great success.

How the competitors stand to benefit

The selected teams will have the chance to place themselves and their educational institutions on the Danish innovation map. This gives them an exceptional opportunity to excel among present and future students and in regard to the Danish industry.

By competing against other higher educational institutions, the focus will be on the academic prowess of the institution; the knowledge that the students possess and their ability to apply it in practice.

Research and professional skills are the foundation of all innovation and development. Grundfos has created this competition to underline that we prioritise co-operation between the business community and the educational institutions which the last two years' Grundfos Challenge have reflected.

Profiles

When the educational institutions select the Challenge participants it's necessary to know that:

The Grundfos Challenge participants need to possess the ability of innovative and future-oriented thinking. All communication regarding Grundfos Challenge will be in English. Therefore it is important that the participants are able to present their ideas in English orally and in writing.

The main emphasis of the engineers is expected to be on technology, but they will also need an understanding of business issues. The main emphasis of the economists should be on their understanding of business issues, but they must also be able to consider the technological aspects.
