Grundfos Challenge has taken off!

Intensity mixed with a lot of positive expectations. This is the best way of describing the atmosphere of the Grundfos Challenge pre-event on 7 March.

The first station
In the Poul Due Jensen Academy this year’s participants in Grundfos Challenge got an introduction to the coming challenges of their journey. In addition they got the opportunity to get to know their competitors in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

Innovative cooking
Untitled Document In addition to a glimpse of what they may expect during their tour in Grundfos Challenge, the participants experienced Grundfos’ pump school, and they got a kick start to innovative thinking with some innovative cooking. The participants in the pre-event got the opportunity to cook with Chef Theis Grydegaard Sørensen who showed his skills with some exciting molecular gastronomy.

A week of competition
The main topics of Grundfos Challenge are innovation, communication, talents and team work. To give the best possible support the company offers a wide network of professional advice for the students during the competition week. The week will culminate in the publication of the winning names. Each of the two winning teams will receive 75,000 DKK, whereas their respective institutions will get the opportunity to award a Grundfos prize of 50,000 DKK as well as receiving a sculpture. In addition to this an Innovation Prize of 15,000 DKK will be awarded.
