Prevent rust

In some situations, stainless steel pumps may come into contact with liquids other than those being pumped - e.g. rainwater, during cleaning, etc. To prevent the pump exterior from rusting and contaminating their environment, CR pumps are available in variants where the base plate, flanges, and motor stool are also made from stainless steel.
