The secret is a metal-glass alloy coating, Silicoat® with an extreme resistance to corrosion. Compared to traditional sensor technologies which incapsulate the unprotected measuring cell from the Media, Silicoat® ensures a continuous protection of the Sensor Chip at aggressive media (ph 2 – ph 11) at temperatures up to 100°C for the life of the product.
