Grundfos NoNOx wins prestigious award

Grundfos NoNOx recently won the prestigious Product Award 2006 within Energy & Environment  given by Danish speciality news magazine ”The Engineer”. The award recognises innovative products that can survive in the face of growing global competition.

Grundfos NoNOx’s urea dosing system was recognised by the award committee for its technical abilities as well as environmental benefits. They state:

“Diesel machinery emissions are a major source of pollution, and reducing them is a great technological challenge. This challenge has been overcome with Danish technology, where this dosing pump plays a central role. It is a key component, and shows how a well-known technology from one industry (dosing) can be transferred into a new one (emission reduction). The environmental benefits are considerable, and the product has significant market potential within the European market.”

“The Engineer” is Denmark’s leading publication in the fields of science and technology, providing high quality and objective information on a weekly basis.

The magazine has 158,000 readers every week. Of these, 42,000 are engineers and 105,000 are people active in business.

Jens Lübeck Johansen of Grundfos NoNOx accepts the award on behalf of the company.
