Relying on pumps
Fish farms rely on pumps to provide large quantities of water
that is crucial for production whether rinsing, cleaning,
feeding or sorting, as well as in filtering, circulating
and disposal of contaminated water.
There are also many other functions, but virtually all are
dealt with by pumps that must be completely reliable, even
when working in aggressive seawater or highly contaminated
wastewater.
Therefore Grundfos SP pumps are often preferred equipment
in fish farming installations.
Operators know from experience that they can depend on the
complete range of Grundfos SP pumps for maximum reliability
and maximum flow consistency.
The motor is fitted with temperature sensors, and a remote
control system enables the operator to start and stop the
pumps from anywhere at any time. Either directly or auto-
matically via mobile phone, radio or computer.
Thanks to their high efficiency and consequent low running
costs, Grundfos SP pumps offer some of the lowest Life Cycle
Costs on the market today.
