Benefits
Wet Rotor Design
- Whisper-quiet operation
Because the circulator is cooled by the water it's pumping, VersaFloŽ's wet-rotor design doesn't require a fan. Fans are often a source of noise and vibrations via pipe work. Sound pressure of the VersaFloŽ UP(S) pumps is less than 41dB, which is the same noise level of a residence at nighttime. - Seal-less = No leaks
Dry rotor pumps are prone to leakage, but wet-rotor pumps do not use mechanical seals, which eliminates worries about hot water leaks and mechanical seal replacements. - Oil-less = No maintenance
VersaFloŽ wet-rotor pumps are virtually maintenance-free because they are oil-less and seal-less. The shaft and bearings are lubricated by the pumped water. There is no coupler or mechanical seal to change. - No accessible electrical components
No risk of touching electrically hot windings or rotating parts. The terminal box enclosure is rated IP 44.
Multiple speed operation
- Energy efficiency means cost savings
The speed switch on the VersaFloŽ UPS motor allows you to adjust the pump speed according to the needs of your system, thereby reducing energy consumption. - Better fit to application
VersaFloŽ UPS pumps can be set to run at required speed rather than running at maximum, so one pump model can fitmore applications.
Terminal Box
- Add-on options available
Optional relay and protection modules increase the versatility of your pump and reduce the need for (and cost of) additional equipment. - User-friendly LED indicator light
VersaFloŽ UP(S) features fiber-optic indicator lights for visual inspection of operation (on/off), rotation, and troubleshooting.
